Dive-site story
Located along the southern coast of Bonaire, Margate Bay takes its name from the large schools of black margate that congregate near the drop-off. The shore entry crosses a strip of coral rubble and shallow sandy patches before giving way to an extensive reef slope. Divers will find tall stands of black coral at depth alongside deep-water sea fans and massive brain coral formations.
