Dive-site story
Oil Slick Leap is a signature dive site on the northwest coast of Bonaire, recognizable by the steel ladder bolted to the low limestone cliff. Divers often perform a giant stride straight off the rock ledge into the clear blue water before descending along a gently sloping spur-and-groove reef structure. The shallow terrace holds extensive colonies of staghorn and star corals that give way to a steeper outer slope frequented by pelagic passersby.
