Dive-site story
Located off the northern extremity of Ilha Rata within the Fernando de Noronha archipelago, Pontal do Norte is an exposed oceanic site oriented toward the open sea. Volcanic boulders, rocky ledges, and steep drop-offs form the seabed, plunging into oceanic blue water. Due to its position facing the open Atlantic, current sweeps across the point, attracting large pelagic predators and schooling fish.
