Dive-site story
Located off the southern coast of Grand Bahama, Shark Junction sits along an expanse of scattered coral heads resting on an open sand flat. Caribbean reef sharks cruise regularly around the coral structures alongside southern stingrays that rest in the surrounding sand channels. Divers typically kneel or hover around the perimeter of the sandy clearing while sharks patrol the area, often accompanied by curious nurse sharks, schooling yellowtail snappers, and large black groupers.
