Dive-site story
Set along the historic Old Welland Canal, this dedicated underwater park serves as a key inland training ground in Southern Ontario. A network of guideline courses connects numerous submerged attractions, including small boat hulls, training platforms, car bodies, and art installations placed by the local diving community. While the water remains relatively calm year-round, fine silt lines the canal bottom, making careful trim and buoyancy control essential to keep the lines visible.
Submerged training platforms connected by underwater guide ropes
Sunken vehicles and small wreck hulls situated along the canal bed
Convenient shore entry via dedicated docks and ramps
Curated bottom route featuring underwater novelty items and navigation practice markers
