Dive-site story
Situated along the southern shore of Lake Lucerne between Buochs and Beckenried, this site features an accessible shore entry that gives way to a sloping shelf and a pronounced underwater drop-off. The submerged landscape transitions from shallow gravel and silt into a steep, dark descent typical of Swiss pre-Alpine lakes. Divers frequently encounter freshwater fish patrolling the shallows, while deeper sections demand good buoyancy control and proper cold-water equipment.

Encounters with nocturnal burbot and resting pike in the shallows
