Dive-site story
Located along the western shore of Lake Zurich near the Lindt chocolate factory, Schoggiwand is a classic Swiss lake wall dive. Entry is accessible directly from the shore steps. After a brief swim across a shallow littoral terrace, the bottom plunges abruptly into a steep, layered clay and molasse drop-off. The dark, silty environment requires disciplined buoyancy control to maintain good visibility for following divers.

Night encounters with burbot prowling the deep ledges and silt pockets
