Dive-site story
El Cantil is a classic wall dive situated along the rocky coastline just outside Taganga Bay near Santa Marta. Large granite boulders transition into a steep, stepped drop-off encrusted with sponges, gorgonian sea fans, and hard coral formations. Divers follow the wall contour while checking crevices and outcroppings for cryptic reef fauna before finishing along shallower ledges.
