Dive-site story
Tortuga is an accessible rocky islet dive located in the Gulf of Papagayo off Playas del Coco. Massive volcanic boulders slope down to open sand channels, creating natural shelter where whitetip reef sharks rest during the day. The site features crevices packed with morays alongside schooling grunts and snappers congregating near the rock faces.
