Dive sites in Cuba

Situated along the Zapata Peninsula between Playa Larga and Playa Girón, this natural cenote occupies a deep limestone fracture surrounded by tropical coastal woodland. Divers descend into a tranquil sinkhole where vertical rock walls drop into darkness beneath a distinct halocline. Sunbeams pierce the calm surface pool, illuminating submerged roots and craggy overhangs before fading toward cavern passages.

Located along the eastern coast of the Bay of Pigs, Punta Perdiz features direct shore access through dedicated access steps cut into the rocky limestone shelf. A sandy channel bordered by coral heads leads outward to a sloping reef structure that eventually gives way to a steep wall drop-off into deeper Caribbean water. The site also features a small sunken vessel resting on the sandbed, attracting schooling reef fish and macro life.
