HMS Cricket was a British Insect-class river gunboat that saw action in both World Wars before being utilized as target practice by the Royal Air Force and sinking upside down in Larnaca Bay. The inverted hull rests on a sandy seafloor, offering divers external exploration around the twin propeller shafts and access inside the hollowed-out hull via escape hatches and blast holes. Natural light penetrates through bomb damage in the superstructure, illuminating schooling fish that shelter inside.
