Dive-site story
The Vera K was a Lebanese cargo vessel that ran aground in shallow water off Paphos and was subsequently blown up as a navigational hazard. Today the wreck lies in a blast-formed underwater crater surrounded by rocky reef structures. Much of the hull has fragmented, but the bridge section, engine block, and various machinery parts remain recognizable and host diverse Mediterranean marine species.
