Dive-site story
Marxweiher is a former gravel quarry lake located in the Upper Rhine Plain near Waldsee in Rhineland-Palatinate. Underwater features include silt slopes, submerged tree trunks, and patches of freshwater vegetation that provide shelter for temperate freshwater fish. Access is subject to local municipal diving permit regulations, with entry restricted to designated entry zones along the bank to preserve surrounding reed belts.
