Dive-site story
Singliser See is a flooded former opencast lignite mine located near Borken in Hesse. The dedicated dive training area features a network of fixed submerged platforms and intentionally placed practice objects connected by guideline ropes. Submerged slopes transition from shallow sandy areas near entry points to siltier bottom terrain deeper out, with visibility heavily influenced by local diver traffic on the training circuit.
Submerged training platforms arrayed at stepped levels for buoyancy and skill sessions
