Dive-site story
Sunk intentionally in 1999 as an artificial reef off the coast of Bayahibe, the St. George wreck is an intact steel freighter resting upright on a sandy sea floor. The vessel provides habitat for deep pelagic species and encrusting marine life, offering multiple decks and open holds suited for trained wreck divers.
