Dive-site story
Mosquera is a flat, sandy islet in the channel between North Seymour and Baltra. Shallow sandbanks drop off into sloping rocky reefs and current-swept ledges. Resident Galapagos sea lions dart around divers in the shallows. Along the sandy flats, expansive beds of garden eels sway in the surge, while resting reef sharks, cruising rays, and passing pelagics patrol the deeper drop-offs.
