Situated south of Hurghada off the Makadi Bay coast, Abu Hashish features an island surrounded by a sprawling coral reef and a sheltered inside lagoon. The site offers distinct dive profiles: a protected shallow plateau covered in table corals and ergs, transitioning eastward into a steeper drop-off favored for drift diving. Offshore currents often sweep past the outer wall, making pelagic encounters possible along the outer drop-off.
