Dive-site story
Resting against the northern slope of Sha'ab Abu Nuhas, the Chrisoula K is a modern German-built cargo vessel that ran aground in August 1981 while transporting Italian floor tiles. The ship rests with its bow crushed in shallow reef flats while the main hull and intact stern sit on a sandy incline. Divers frequently explore the open cargo holds packed with neatly stacked tile crates, the accessible engine room, and the dramatic propeller sitting upright off the seabed.
