Dive-site story
Located south of Dahab along the Sinai coastline, Gabr el Bint offers pristine wall diving far from the heavy traffic of urban centers. Divers typically reach the site by safari boat from Dahab or via traditional camel trek along the coastal desert path. The topography divides into distinct northern and southern sections, featuring steep drop-offs carpeted in massive gorgonian sea fans, a sandy lagoon plateau, and dramatic coral pinnacles that drop into deep blue water.
Extensive walls adorned with towering, undamaged gorgonian fan corals
Frequent encounters with pelagic fish hunting along the outer reef crest
Uncrowded conditions compared to central Dahab and Sharm el Sheikh reefs
