Marsa Egla is a sheltered coastal bay north of Marsa Alam featuring a wide sandy seabed covered in sparse seagrass that extends between two fringing coral reef walls. Divers typically enter directly from the beach and cruise along either the northern or southern reef before exploring the central seagrass beds where large marine herbivores feed.
