Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Safaga, Sadana Island features an extensive fringing reef, scattered coral pinnacles, and a sandy plateau. The area is historically noted for the 18th-century Ottoman merchant vessel excavated by nautical archaeologists. While much of the original archaeological material was recovered, broken amphorae fragments and wooden frame remnants blend into the seabed alongside dense table corals and gorgonian sea fans.
