Dive-site story
Shaab El Erg is a massive horseshoe-shaped barrier reef situated between Hurghada and El Gouna in the northern Red Sea. The protected interior lagoon shelters a resident pod of Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, earning the central dive area the moniker Dolphin House. Outside the lagoon, expansive sandy plateaus and scattered coral pinnacles attract passing pelagic species, rays, and sea turtles.
