Dive-site story
Running along the eastern flank of Giftun Island National Park near Hurghada, this classic Red Sea drift dive tracks a vertical coral wall before opening onto an expansive sandy plateau. Vast fans of gorgonian corals cling to the sheer drop-off, catching current that washes past the headland. Divers typically drop in up-current by Zodiac or daily boat, letting the flow carry them along the drop-off toward the mooring area near the island's southern ridge.
