Dive-site story
The SS Thistlegorm is a British armed merchant navy ship sunk by German bombers during World War II while carrying military cargo to North Africa. Today, the upright wreck rests in open water in the Strait of Gubal. Divers explore two main sections split by the bomb blast, swimming past Bedford trucks, BSA motorcycles, munitions, and train locomotives still secured on deck and within the holds.
