Dive-site story
Located south of Dahab, Um Sid is accessed directly from the rocky shore across a reef crest. The profile transitions quickly from a shallow coral shelf into a steep sandy slope punctuated by massive coral pinnacles and sprawling gorgonian fan forests. Further down the slope, expansive colonies of garden eels sway in the current before the reef plunges toward deep blue water.
