Dive-site story
Situated along the limestone cliffs of the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve between Jávea and Dénia, Primera Ensenada features a seabed of massive fallen boulders transitioning into lush Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows and patches of clean sand. The protected status of the area since the early 1990s has allowed Mediterranean species to recover in size and density, making curious predatory fish a common sight among the rocky crevices and overhangs.
