Dive-site story
Located along the rugged Montgrí Coast within the Natural Park, Baix de Cols is an offshore submerged rocky shoal. The seamount rises from a sand and boulder bottom toward the surface, featuring vertical drop-offs, deep cracks, and fields of colorful gorgonians on its deeper north and east faces. Because it is exposed to open water, the site attracts pelagic hunters alongside resident reef dwellers.
