Dive-site story
Bajo de la Esponja sits south of Ibiza Town, centered around a submerged rocky mound near the islet of s'Esponja. The reef drops through stepped terraces into sandy bottoms interspersed with thick Posidonia oceanica meadows. Divers follow the perimeter of the stone formation to explore shadowed fissures, overhangs, and swim-through channels where Mediterranean fauna congregates.
