Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Villaricos in Almería, Cabeza del Caballito features a rugged volcanic rock formation leading towards the cavern area known as La Catedral. Sunbeams filter through overhead openings into the main chamber, illuminating rocky arches and crevices inhabited by Mediterranean fauna. The surrounding seabed mixes rocky substrate with patches of Posidonia oceanica meadows.
