Dive-site story
Located off the rugged headland of Cap Norfeu within the Cap de Creus Natural Park, El Gat is named after a distinct feline-shaped rock formation above water. Below the surface, steep granite walls and boulder slopes drop into the open Mediterranean, creating a haven for rich benthic communities. Divers follow rocky terraces draped in red gorgonians while schooling predators patrol the open water just off the drop-off.
