Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Carboneras near the edge of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, El Motor is centered on the encrusted remains of a submerged engine block and boiler. The metallic structure lies on a mixed seabed of sand channels, scattered rocky slabs, and expansive Posidonia oceanica meadows. Marine life gathers tightly around the artificial structure, utilizing its hollows and crevices for shelter against coastal currents.
