Dive-site story
Located along the rugged Montgrí coastline north of L'Estartit, Illa Ferriol is an islet featuring classic Costa Brava underwater topography. The seabed alternates between boulders, rocky walls with fissures, and posidonia seagrass meadows descending to a sandy floor. Natural swim-throughs and overhangs shelter typical Mediterranean species, with red gorgonians lining shaded crevices on the seaward slopes.
