Dive-site story
Resting upside down on a clean seabed off the southeastern coast of Menorca, this World War II German Luftwaffe twin-engine bomber is one of the premier historical aircraft wrecks in the Balearic Islands. The aircraft ditched in Mediterranean waters during wartime operations, remaining largely intact with visible engines, propellers, and cockpit framing. Because of the significant depth, bottom time is limited, demanding precise gas management and decompression discipline.
