Dive-site story
Located on the southern side of the Meda Gran island within the Medes Islands Marine Reserve, La Vaca is famed for its expansive cavern system. Divers navigate wide, interconnected tunnels that cut straight through the limestone rock, where skylights and archways let shafts of ambient Mediterranean sunlight illuminate the interior. Outside the caverns, steep rocky walls descend towards a sandy bottom scattered with boulders.
