Dive-site story
Set off the coast of the Punta Entinas-Sabinar natural reserve in Almería, Lajas de Cerrillos centers on extended rocky sandstone slab formations that rise gently above the surrounding seabed. Dense beds of Posidonia oceanica seagrass border these rock shelves, creating a rich nursery and feeding ground for coastal Mediterranean species. Divers can cruise along the ledge profiles to inspect cracks, overhangs, and sandy corridors between the slabs.
