Dive-site story
Situated within the strictly protected Medes Islands Marine Reserve, Les Ferranelles consists of a cluster of low-lying islets flanked by rocky platforms and Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows. Because the area has enjoyed decades of fishing bans, marine life shows little fear of divers, with large dusky groupers regularly approaching at arm's length. The topography features gentle drop-offs, large scattered boulders, and sandy flats where benthic rays forage.
