La Llosa de Palamós is a classic Mediterranean seamount located just off the port of Palamós. The rocky pinnacle rises abruptly from a sandy seabed, featuring fractured granite boulders, steep drop-offs, and narrow swim-throughs. Plankton-rich currents sweep over the structure, drawing both stationary benthic life and roving pelagics to its sheer rock faces.
