Dive-site story
Located along the rugged cliffs of El Cañarete between Aguadulce and Almería, this dive centers around a network of large fallen limestone boulders and natural swim-throughs. Sunlight penetrates the overhead openings, illuminating sandy corridors and rock walls encrusted with sponges and bryozoans. Patches of Posidonia seagrass flank the boulder field, offering shelter to Mediterranean coastal species.
