Situated along the rocky Costa Tropical headland near Almuñécar, this site offers a diverse mix of sheltered coves, dramatic boulder slopes, and steep walls. Because the rocky promontory shields divers from prevailing westerly winds, the water frequently stays calm even when surrounding bays are rough. Divers navigate rocky shelves covered in encrusting invertebrates and follow descending sand chutes out toward open water.
