Dive-site story
A French oil tanker sunk by a sea mine in the Bay of Roses in March 1939, the Saint Prosper sits upright on a muddy seabed offshore from Punta Falconera. Significant depth restricts the site to technical divers with trimix or decompression training. Encrusting sponges, soft corals, and deep-water fish colonize the intact hull and superstructure.
