Dive-site story
Located off the western coastline of Menorca near Ciutadella, El Submarino is named for its distinctive rock formation that resembles the conning tower and hull of a submerged submarine. The rocky outcrop features a variety of swim-throughs, caverns, and cuts that shelter classic Mediterranean wildlife. Sandy channels and dense Posidonia seagrass meadows frame the perimeter of the reef.
