Positioned within the protected waters of the Medes Islands Marine Reserve, Tascó Gros is an islet known for steep drop-offs, massive submerged boulders, and healthy Mediterranean biodiversity. Long-standing fishing bans have allowed resident dusky groupers to grow remarkably large and show curiosity toward passing divers. Moving deeper around the southern and eastern flanks reveals walls overgrown with purple and yellow sea fans, while schools of barracuda and dentex patrol the open blue.
