Dive-site story
Located off the northern coast of Île de Port-Cros within the national park boundaries, Pointe de la Galère features rocky slopes, large granite boulders, and dense Posidonia oceanica seagrass beds dropping off into deeper gravel and sand. Decades of strict marine protection have allowed Mediterranean apex predators and reef fish to flourish without fear of spearfishers or commercial boats.
Protected national park zone with exceptionally calm and habituated dusky groupers
Rocky drop-offs covered in yellow cluster anemones and red gorgonians
