Dive-site story
Located on the Northumberland coastline, Beadnell offers classic North Sea temperate diving featuring rocky reefs, gullies, and kelp beds. Divers can enter directly from the sheltered rocky outcrops or launch small craft from the harbor to access the outer reefs. The underwater terrain consists of sandstone ledges undercut with crevices that shelter North Sea crustacean and fish populations.
Extensive kelp forests and sandstone bedrock gullies
Abundant crustacean life hiding in wall fissures
Occasional encounters with curious grey seals from the nearby Farne Islands
