Dive-site story
Capernwray, a flooded former limestone quarry in Lancashire, operates as an inland dive training centre. Underwater shot lines connect attractions across the quarry floor, including a Hawker Siddeley passenger aircraft, sunken boats, an oil platform diving bell, and submerged platforms. Purpose-built jetties and slipways give direct access to the water.
