Dive-site story
Cromhall Quarry is an inland flooded limestone quarry located in South Gloucestershire, utilized extensively for diver training and kit testing. The quarry floor slopes gradually with submerged training platforms, sunken cabin cruisers, a shipping container, and vehicle wrecks linked by navigation lines. Silt can be kicked up easily along the bottom, making careful buoyancy control helpful when training groups are present.
Sunken training features including a shipping container, phone box, and boat hulls
Network of guideline ropes connecting attractions across the quarry floor
Protected freshwater habitat supporting native crayfish and freshwater fish species
Easy shore entry via designated pontoons and gentle access slopes
