Dive-site story
Eight Acre Lake is a dedicated inland diver-training and open-water swimming facility located near North Cave in East Yorkshire. Formed from a flooded former gravel pit, the lake features a flat, silty bottom interspersed with submerged training platforms and purpose-sunk attractions connected by guide lines. Sheltered banks keep surface waters calm, making it a reliable training spot throughout the British diving season.
