Dive-site story
Located on the southwestern coastline of Alonnisos within the National Marine Park of Alonnisos and Northern Sporades, Mikros Mourtias Beach serves as an accessible bay dive. The seabed features a gentle progression from pebble shoreline to scattered rocky boulders, interspersed with dense Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows and sandy patches. Divers typically follow the rocky contours flanking the bay before turning back across the meadows, finding small reef fauna sheltered in the crevices.
