Dive-site story
Located off the southeastern coast of Rhodes, Plimiri is best known for the wreck of the Giannoula K, a large cargo freighter that ran aground and sank in the early 1980s. The vessel rests on a sandy seabed in clear water, with parts of the superstructure, masts, and cargo holds accessible to explore. Sheltered inside the bay, the site allows both shore and boat entries depending on surface swells.

Schools of damselfish and sea bream sheltering around the superstructure
