Dive-site story
St George 1 sits just off the rocky headland of Cape Saint George near Hersonissos on the northern coast of Crete. The site features a stepped rocky seabed cut through by crevices, overhangs, and scattered boulder fields. Divers drift along the rocky slopes where typical Mediterranean macro life shelters in the cracks, with occasional ancient amphora shards embedded into the limestone bedrock.
